Heterocyclic chemistry contributes to half of organic chemistry research as worldwide. In this study, an effort is made to synthesize 1,3,4-oxadiazole and triazine-5-thione derivatives through the condensation reaction of aromatic acids, substituted hydrazine and substituted phenyl isothiocyanate using green catalysts. The chemical structures of the synthesized compounds were characterized by considering the data of their elemental analysis as well as their spectral data using FT-IR, 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR and Mass spectra. All the newly synthesized compounds were screened for their anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties through anti-microbial studies revealed that compounds 2a and 2b have significant antibacterial and anti-fungal activity.
